Notes:
In 1951, the London Mint was called upon for the first time since 1915 to strike coins for Australia. It produced a new master hub for the reverse from a 1937 master die but, in adding the edge detail, the previous alignment of the legend to the edge denticles was altered. This change in alignment does not in itself warrant the classification of a different reverse type, but a new Type 'F' reverse has been recognised because for the first time the source die was subsequently altered by both the Melbourne and Perth mints to create different alignments.
