Notes:
The 1954 Threepence concluded a two-year type which replaced the traditional 'FIDEI DEF' (Defender of the Faith) with an obtuse cross. A shortened 'F : D' was restored on the 1955 Threepence in addition to the cross. The obverse stops on this date are diamond shaped.
