Notes:
Decimal currency was not introduced to Australia until February, 1966 whereas the 'last' Australian florins were officially struck in 1963.
It is speculated that unused dies for the 1960 Florin were brought back into production to fill a shortage of coins in the run-up to the changeover, as large numbers have survived in mint sate.
